About This Place

Welcome to Claire’s Café, a charming eatery nestled on East Common Lane in Scunthorpe. This delightful café is becoming a local favorite for its inviting ambiance and a menu that speaks to the heart of comfort food lovers. With a focus on quality, affordability, and swift service, Claire’s has quickly established itself as a must-visit destination for breakfast and beyond.

As I ventured into Claire’s, I was met with friendly smiles from the staff, who embody the warmth and hospitality that keeps patrons returning. The café exudes a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. One of the standout features is the speed of service; many customers, like Philip Goodall, rave about receiving their meals promptly—often within five minutes. It’s the little details, like beautifully plated food and well-buttered toast, that elevate the dining experience.

The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a variety of options that cater to all palates. From hearty breakfasts that leave you feeling satisfied, like the popular chicken loaded dish highlighted by customer John, to more specialized fare, there’s something for everyone. Ben Brewster’s review captures the essence of the café perfectly: a place where you can simply enjoy the moment and forget your worries.

Affordable prices add to Claire’s appeal, allowing diners to indulge without breaking the bank. Meals are well-portioned and made with care, making every penny spent feel worthwhile. For instance, Philip's medium breakfast, complete with black pudding and a large coffee, was praised not only for its taste but also for its presentation—an impressive feat for just £7.70. It’s clear that value and quality go hand in hand here.

Culinary enthusiasts will appreciate the café's commitment to cleanliness and customer service. Reviewers like Aeron Lindley and Darren Clarke consistently note the polite demeanor of the staff and the cleanliness of the dining area. Claire’s Café embodies the community spirit that makes dining out an enjoyable experience—the kind where you feel valued and where your needs are prioritized.

In conclusion, Claire’s Café is more than just a place to eat; it’s a welcoming corner where good food, friendly faces, and affordable prices converge. Whether you drop by for a quick coffee or indulge in a leisurely breakfast, you’re sure to leave with a smile. I, for one, am looking forward to making my next visit, with many dishes still to explore!

Thanks Claire. It’s rare I’m happy in the uk, and with all the medication I take to make me happy, this is a place I can forget to to take my pills.

Called in today at lunchtime at the new Claire's on East Common Lane. Service at the till was exemplary, ordered a medium breakfast, added black pudding, with a large coffee. Picked a table and within 5 minutes my meal was in front of me, beautifully laid out, with two rounds of well buttered thick toast. Everything on the plate was hot, and tasted fabulous. For £7.70p it was a perfect meal. Great background music as well⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. A varied menu is available, definitely a recommended eatery, and I will be visiting again soon no

The staff were absolutely lovely and will definitely be going here regular. I had scrambled egg on toast and it was very nice and creamy.

Great breakfasts highly recommend. Good range of meals from what I could see. The place is nice and clean, staff are all very polite and the service is good and quick and the food is good value for money. There's some parking, although currently it seems to be a bit restricted at the rear of the property, but we've not struggled to park the times we've been. Highly recommended and will be back for further meals.

Must be in my top 3 cafes of all time absolutely fantastic breakfast and dinner options and the staff are brilliant Highly recommend

Came here for breakfast while my car was being sorted at bms mini. Was very very impressed with the food. Talk about cheap and plentiful!!!!!! Hubby had the large breakfast. Played well and not just thrown on. Looked really appetising. I had the small breakfast roll. Bacon sausage and mushroom. Thank god I didn’t go large!!! The small was huge and really nice. Best thing the sausages were pork too. Girls were super friendly and the place tidy …. Told everyone today where I’d been ….. great place and I’ll s back
